An Update to the State Highway 64 construction project in Merrill, It will be about 3-weeks until the 1st phase of the project will be open for traffic. Once the Scott St to Polk street portion has traffic flowing, workers will then close Center Avenue and start work on the roundabout. It’s estimated the 1st and Center Avenue intersection will be close for at least 3-weeks while the roundabout is being constructed.

During the “Roundabout” phase of this project, Court street and popular street may be closed. It’s suggested, driver go in through Mill Street and use the alleyway. Just 3-weeks ago, construction crews were subjected to a federal audit of how the traffic control signs should be placed, auditor found the crews were correct in the placement and did everything right.
