A 39 year old Harshaw man is in custody after a stand-off in the town of Bradley.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just before 11:00 PM Sunday night reporting a man was armed with a handgun and making threats at a residence off of County Rd. S.
Deputies along with a DNR Warden, Trooper from the Wisconsin State Patrol and a Tomahawk Police Officer all responded to the scene.
A negotiator from the Sheriff’s Office was able to make contact with the man but he refused to comply and come out of the cabin prompting the call out of the Special Response Team.
Shortly after 3:00 AM and after several hours of negotiations the man came out of the residence and was taken into custody. As of early this morning, he was being brought to the Lincoln County Jail where a charging decision was to be made.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Rescue Vehicle was used to assist and Tomahawk EMS stood by in the area. County Rd. S was closed for several hours due to the incident.
