The four men arrested Wednesday morning for the burglary of the Dugout Bar north of Merrill made their initial court appearances Thursday.
After their bond hearings on Thursday in Lincoln County Court, three of the suspects arrested after breaking into the Dug Out Bar on Wednesday morning remain jailed.
Deamon T. Boettcher released after posting a $500 cash bond
James E. Madden – remains jailed on a $1000 cash bond
Tony Allen Hurlburt – remains jailed on a $1500 cash bond
Michael W. Wienandt – remains jailed on a $5000 cash bond
Deamon Boettcher, Michael Weinandt, Tony Hurburt and James Madden face multiple charges, including burglary and theft. Three of the men were apprehended without incident minutes after police arrived. All three surrendered in part, because they were cold. With temps at minus 5 Wednesday morning, the men gave up hiding in the woods. One of the men was actually treated for hypothermia. Weinandt was arrested Wednesday afternoon at his home, following the police investigation.
