A Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy cited four snowmobilers for operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop early Saturday morning in the Town of Bradley.
The Deputy watched as the four sleds traveling south on the Hiawatha Trail failed to stop at two stop signs prompting the stop at County Rd A and Norten Rd at 12:41 AM. A thirty eight year old man from Magnolia, TX, a forty year old man also from Magnolia, along with a forty year old Chicago man performed field sobriety tests and were taken into custody for operating a snowmobile while intoxicated. A forty nine year old man from Center, TX refused to perform field sobriety tests but was also taken into custody for the same offense.
All four subjects were processed for OWI and later released to a responsible party.
